Big compliment for the flexibility and top communication. Many thanks!
We were all very happy with the quick and excellent result.
Re-evaluating Injection Molding vs. 3D Printing
The quality of 3D printed parts has improved significantly in recent years. Machine reliability has also increased, massively reducing the cost per manufactured component. The selection of materials and colors has grown.
This means the point at which injection molding makes sense is moving further and further back. The flexibility that 3D printing offers is also completely different. A change to a component can be implemented on the same day, instead of after several months and with high financial outlay & risk. Is that still up to date?
FAQ
What printing methods do you offer?
We focus 100% on FDM (fused deposition modeling), as we currently see the greatest potential here. In the future, SLS may be added, but it is not currently planned.
Could you print that one part for me?
Our core competence lies in the small-series production of FDM printed parts. If you need a single part, there are certainly many print farms and platforms that can do it cheaper than us. If you need a component for a professional application that needs to be printed repeatedly in high quality or is currently causing problems being printed at all, then we are the right partner. We specialize in the production of real products + their e-commerce distribution.
What materials can you print?
- PLA – easy to print, ideal for prototypes & design models
- PETG – robust, slightly flexible, good chemical resistance
- ABS – impact-resistant, more temperature-resistant than PLA
- TPU – flexible/elastic (e.g., seals, protective elements)
- ASA – UV and weather-resistant (outdoor applications)
- ASA-CF (Carbon Fiber Reinforced)
- PHA – bio-based plastic, can be composted without residue
Where is your company located?
Our warehouse and production facility are located in the industrial area of Neuss, in close proximity to Düsseldorf (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany).
What colors do you have in stock?
We always have black and white available in every filament. You probably need a very specific color and not just, for example, simple red. Red can be glossy, matte or transparent, light or dark. That's why we select the color and material exactly according to your specific project.
If you want it very precise, there is the option to order exactly by RAL color. These are then produced locally in the Netherlands. For large quantities of approx. 100+ kg, we can handle the production in China and the import to Germany.
